Jenny Rossiter
Jenny Rossiter is a Clerkenwell and Islington Guide, a City of London Guide and a London Borough of Camden Guide and has always had an interest in cities and how they have changed and developed over the centuries. She has worked on urban regeneration programmes in London and other parts of the UK. Also, she has worked for overseas aid agencies in Latin America and Southern Africa.
For the last fifteen years she has worked as an independent consultant carrying out research and project assessments for church, voluntary, statutory and academic institutions. Her assignments mainly focusing on housing and social policy issues in the UK.
She currently provides guided walks for post graduate housing and planning students from University College London. Although, she has qualifications in Environmental Health and Housing she improves her knowledge of all things urban (and London in particular) by walking the streets and looking! She has a special interest in open spaces, social reformers and trees.
In 2012 a short book about the Life and Work of Octavia Hill, written by Jenny, was published.
