Strolling around The Strand
On our walk we will explore the fascinating streets and alleys around The Strand and Fleet Street while hearing the stories of famous residents. We will see where Charles Dickens worked, visit the sites of some of our historic palaces, and see where Claude Monet painted. We continue on to explore the Inns of Court, one of the most picturesque parts of London steeped in history. We will see where Shakespeare’s play Twelfth Night was premiered, discover the origin of one of our famous nursery rhymes, and see where the monarch has to ask permission to enter. Finally we will end our walk in Covent Garden where we discover its many hidden secrets.
