This walk starts at one of the gates of Roman London! See the original Roman wall and the remains of one of the Roman temples and learn about the Roman way of life, the fort, the soldiers, the ordinary folk, the market place and the central administrative centre. You will understand why the Thames was so important to the development of London and the origins of it as a great trading port under the Romans. You will also hear about what the Romans did in their spare time!
