Royalty, Drugs and Demons - A Medical Walk in Westminster
On our walk we will see where celebrities have their babies, where a King learned to swear and where a doctor was ridiculed for his obsession with 'invisible' germs”. We will learn about the oldest Medical Society and how employing a shop boy in a window led to the foundation of a 200 year old pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Society and find out about the man that helped George III to see. Finally we will end our walk hearing about how the “Citadel of Medicine” inspired an inner demon!! The walk will end near Bond Street Station.
