Hidden Lambeth
Starting at the Oval, we will hear the stories of some of Lambeth famous residents who as writers, political leaders, sportsmen and performers have contributed the rich history of the borough. We will see where Bob Marley prayed, where Chartists preached, discover the lady who started the Notting Hill Carnival, hear about a historic deception and walk through some beautiful secret gardens. Finally we will see where Handel’s Water Music was performed for the first time!
